About Me
Robin Creighton Ravazzini
Composer • Producer • Cellist
I’m a classically trained cellist who rediscovered her creative spark through music production.
I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in cello performance and spent years performing onstage with incredible musicians, from Michael Tilson Thomas and Christoph Eschenbach, to artists such as Diana Krall, Chuck Mangione, and The Manhattan Transfer. But traditional performing path didn’t feel fulfilling.
So, I pivoted.
For over a decade, I worked in arts administration and fundraising, helping orchestras and conservatories raise money to keep classical music alive. Those years gave me a deep appreciation for the why behind the music: the passion, the storytelling, and the human connection.
But eventually, I felt the pull to create again.
In my late 40’s, I opened my DAW for the first time, determined to learn music production from scratch. Since then, I’ve built a catalog of cinematic and emotionally rich string music signed with multiple sync libraries, with placements on ABC, Hulu, and several European television networks.
✨ What I Create
Through my production company, Acacello Music, I compose and produce:
~ Cinematic string scores for film, TV, and stage
~ Neoclassical and nostalgic pop covers that reimagine familiar songs with emotional depth
~ Custom cello recordings and arrangements for composers, songwriters, and creative collaborators
My music lives where classical artistry meets modern storytelling, bridging the world I came from with the creative freedom I found.
💛 Why I do It
I know what it feels like to be a musician craving new purpose after years of structure and expectation. That’s why I founded Classical Creatives, a community that helps midlife musicians explore new creative paths, rediscover joy in their craft, and build sustainable, fulfilling careers.
Whether I’m scoring a scene, reimagining an 80s hit with strings, or mentoring another musician on their own reinvention journey, my goal is the same: to help people reconnect with what makes them feel alive through music.
Based in the Sierra Nevada foothills, I draw inspiration from nature, nostalgia, and the resilience of midlife reinvention.
If you’re looking for cinematic cello, heartfelt storytelling, or creative collaboration,
you’re in the right place.
